Digital treasure entertainment (dte) is a gaming company that has been created as a consequence of its founders’ strong tie-ins with Germany’s film industry.
As part of Bavaria Film Partner’s network, DTE has strong relationships with all of Germany’s large-scale Film Producers, creating national as well as international products.
Two long-term partners, Roland Schaffner and Chriz Merkl established this privately owned company in 2010. Founding dte was a required and natural next step in light of the growing amount of film projects that both partners were involved in and that required gaming content as a fun and commercial add-on.
Today, dte’s services range from games that are fully integrated into the overall marketing strategy of any respective film – prior to its release – to creating additional value on a DVD in terms of a game as a special feature item.
